Helping Those In Need

Enrich and Employ is a local nonprofit that works to remove barriers to employment by providing job skills training in a functioning restaurant. People with special needs, those who have completed an addiction recovery program and English language learners can have a difficult time getting an interview with a sparse resume. Enrich & Employ trains them for different types of positions that they can then add to their resume.

Training all happens at the ice cream and sandwich shop, Ice Cream Company, that has been in Century Center for over forty years. We are excited to be able to use it to strengthen our community in this way. There are several ways that you can partner with us, and all donations are tax-deductible.

“Ice Cream Company has changed my life. They take chances on people like me that have made mistakes. And have given me an opportunity to prove my worth and be successful”
